When I post my email address on our website, I get tons of spam. Is there any way to show the email, but to be safe from spam harvester.

Here's a web site where you can plug in your email address and it will create the Javascript code that you can just copy and paste into your site.
Your email address will look normal and unprotected when you browse the page, but the spam harvesters won't be able to capture it. I've used it alot and it works great. It has already cut down on my spam.
Reply:You can create html form and use php or perl to send an email to yourself. This way no one will ever get to know your email id. Another possibility is to create an image with your email ID. You can use Paintbrush under windows XP or Gimp under Linux OS. However I recommend you to create simple php or perl form to send an email. See php example below.

Can I zip and remove folders from my email?
Over time , I have accumulated several folders of topics that I would like to remove, but store on DVD.
In lieu of forwarding these emails, one by one, to another email address for archiving, I'd like to have the ability to zip and remove these email copies from the Yahoo server.

The only thing I can think of is paying for POP Yahoo! Mail Plus. Then the e-mails will save directly to your computers hard-drive through Microsoft Outlook. It would be a handy feature to have on the free e-mail tho.

Just be patient, because your emails are still there, they are just invisible, mine keep going from visible to invisible, so I know they are still there, however the 10 million have gone now. I thought someone had jacked my account, which had not ever happened in the more than 10 years that I have had it. Then, I just thought I was losing my mind, but it is definitely the geniuses at yahoo playing with our heads. Here's to crossing our fingers that it will be resolved shortly!

Add your own Cell number to your contacts. From there you can add your email address. Send a message to your email containing the pictures. Once you get the email right click and save the pictures. Thats what I always do.

But if you do remember your password, make sure you create one that you'll remember because you can't change the email address associated with your account unless the one you signed up with is active. They have some code they send that you have to enter to update your email address. It annoys me because the email I signed up with isn't active anymore and I want to update it in case I forget my password but it won't let me without that stupid code.

You need to set your computer to delete all your "cookies" everytime you logoff your computer. Cookies are places you have been on the internet and some companies actually track where you go when you leave their site. Go to tools - click on the Advanced tab and scroll down to the Security section (it is the last section). Put a check mark in the box that says "Empty Temporary File when browser is closed".
Also, clear your history (this is where your cookies are) each time you logoff. It is also under Tools, and click on Internet - you will see the History button.
This should cut out alot of spam.

most e-mail accounts have spam blocker software installed... perhaps you need to go into your "preferences" and block messages received from addresses NOT in your personal address book. In Yahoo e-mail... all of it can be sent directly to the Trash, the address is blocked automatically, but you either have to set it up that way or each time you receive an unwanted message, select it (highlight it) DON'T open it, and then select the Spam button above the messages.

Under the server tab, change the password but MAKE SURE YOU CALL YOUR ISP AND HAVE THEM CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD ALSO! Ideally, your husband will try to start Outlook and wont be able to connect to the server because the password will have been changed. Just dont save any messages locally.

It is a problem with your network settings not matching the ISP settings. I experienced the same problem, and later got everything up and running, after I reconfigured my Network Settings. It is a problem with your network settings not matching the ISP settings. I experienced the same problem, and later got everything up and running, after I reconfigured my Network Settings. first go to: main menu
-setup wizard
-email setup
-click on the one that says you want to create or add an email address
-press next until the web opens up
-once on the web it should list the email address that is currently in use just scroll down to the delete button and your done!
-then after that you can add your own
