How do I remove contacts from 360 and IM from my email address book but NOT from 360 and IM?

Every time I add a new contact to my 360 or my IM, their email address and/or name gets added into my Yahoo mail address book.





My address book is full of emails I do not need and will never use.





Is there a way of removing them from the address book, but NOT 360 and IM?

I'll watch this space to see if it works and I hope you don't want to remove me out here in the Simpson Desert as it is a bit lonely for a good laugh. Best of luck with the delete button as I tried that with a few other keys and the world just disappeared around me there old mate.
Reply:ok, what kind of pc do you have? vista? maybe xp? look in your address book, check names, delete all gone. more info would help.
Reply:I would think that if you went into you e-mail account and removed the e-mails individually, it shouldn't remove them from 360 or IM.





I recall when I was removing someone from my IM account, I had to remove them through my IM ...I also had to go into my yahoo e-mail account to remove them from there....so I think they are all seperate....
