Threateninng email, need to cancel current email and switch to new.
I have received a life threatening email, how do I contact yahoo to change my email address?
There should be a contact spot on yahoo. report them email and delete your account and just make anew one and this time make it a different name other then your birth name.
Reply:you need to do a couple of things. firstly change your own address. Simply set up a new address. Secondly contact the police immediately. Do not delete the email as the authorities will want to check its origin and use it for a possible book of evidence.





Thirdly, keep a diary of the dates and times which you receive these messages and their content.

Reply:If it's someone you don't know then I would contact the police asap. If you know this person, how long and good do you really know them? Could they be serious or just playing a prank. Altleast make a police report, and if you know the person, I wouldnt try to find out why in person. You never know-what to expect from people anymore, what kind of person would do that as a joke. If you can block that person immediately. Be careful and be safe. Try a new email address.
Reply:Go to support and look under email. You need to show it to the police, too! Changing your email address won't save you if someone really wants to kill you.
