How can I block ads appearing in my email page?

I get a variety of small ads around my email page. I would like to prevent those of a sexual nature, ie, local girls etc.
How can I block ads appearing in my email page?
You can not delete the ads that is what pays for everyone to have free yahoo accounts. The only way to not have them is to sigh up for yahoo plus which you pay for and you will not have them. If it is pop-ups you are having make sure you enable your pop-up blocker. Hope this helps!!!
Reply:Yahoo likes to make you believe that you have to upgrade to get no more ads, but a couple of weeks ago, when they had technical problems and accidently placed a script in the box on the YA pages instead of the flash ads normally displayed, I found out that adyield-manager is used to place personalized ads. Adyield manager uses cookies to track your browsing habits, so you may get a different ad displayed than somebody sitting right next to you! That prompted me to look for solutions since I don't like to get spied upon, and I found several good solutions!

Download and install the latest Firefox browser:

Also install "adblock plus":

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...

Result: no more annoying ads! And pages are loading much quicker too...:-)

http://www.admuncher.com/ - this adblocker for the IE (and other browsers) gets highly recommended in several forums.

http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/261... - for Safari Mac

http://opindian.com/blog/2009/02/25/adbl... - another solution for Safari 4 Win and Mac.

I personally have the Firefox installed and don't even see anymore ads on the YA pages...:-)
