I need a fax machine that will send the fax to my email?

I can't use efax (or anything like it) because my business absolutely needs to keep it's current fax number. Is there a machine I can plug into our phone line that will accept faxes, convert them into PDFs and send it to my email address? How much? Where do I get it?

You just need your computer, no fax machine needed! The computer can do everything the fax machine can do, all you need is a modem.

Now if you still want a "Fax Machine" why not get one of the many available "Multifunction Printers" that have Fax, Scan, Copy, Printer all in one units. Most of them also have the software to receive fax - once received, some of them have the software to email the image (fax pdf or tiff) to you.


Check with HP or Xerox for serveral units that can do this.


The Xerox M20i (a higher side printer) allows you to connect and "veiw" incoming faxes directly from your computer without ever even printing them!
