I get a box with a red X in the corner but no picture.
How can I get photos to show in my email?
Upload the photo to a photo sharing website such as Photobucket. Now, you will have links there to put them on different sites such as forums, email and more. Now, what you have to do is right- click the picture and click "copy" then paste the picture into your signature on yahoo mail. It takes a lot to muck around with, but it should work.
