I have a HP Pavilion 7905 and it's about 5 years old.
How do I get my computer to go directly to Yahoo when I press my email button on my keyboard?
HP does have a driver update for some computers using HP internet/multi-media keyboards that allows you to reconfigure/customize those buttoms. You could see if your computer/keyboard is a candidate for this driver. Go to HP's site and in the search box type "reconfigure keyboard". Click on the result that says "How to configure those extra keyboard buttons...".
Reply:you can if the keyboard allowed and you can know by the disc of multimedia drive
Reply:Hi just put yahoo as your home page then your keyboard button will take you straight there
Reply:I have a HP pavillion too, about 1 year old, and can't do that either. I just have to go to messenger, and check for mail....but that's easy because it is auto, so no sign-in is required
Just checked the above answers, and that isn't true...Yahoo is my home page, but still can't just press the email button, you still have to sign in
Reply:No fair, my computer doesn't have an email button. Try yelling at it. Maybe the computer comes with a sensor that detects your frustration and complies with your wishes.
Reply:Go to your contol panel located inside of your start menu. Go to Network and Internet Connections, then interent connections. Then type in yahoo's home address in and press apply, and then press ok.
